What a week....

Hey to the reader,

Sorry about not posting for a while. As some of you may know I've been enjoying the brilliant weather down in the south of England. There's nothing quite like 5 days relaxing with some friends, family and a cool pool in sight. Indulging at the hotel's amazing selection of food was also great. I have never felt more greedy. At least I have the rest of the summer to work off any weight I might have gained.

The days consisted of ferocious table tennis contests, nightly takedowns in the pool with one 'sexy' girl, trying and failing to get a nice suntan, too many games of Marco Polo to count and wasting more money than I probably should have at the arcades.
All in all, it was a great way to spend my first week of the holidays.

I'm gonna spend the rest of my time lazing about, seeing friends and enjoying the brilliant weather. I just hope it doesn't go by too fast.

Enjoy your summers as much as possible guys!

Sun, sea, sand and, table tennis?

Hey to the reader, This is probably the only post I'll be making this week as I'm on my holidays now. Five days relaxing by the South English coast. It's very warm and I'm enjoying ferocious table tennis games with my mate. I'm hoping to try my luck at the local arcades tomorrow.

Make sure to get out and have some fun in the sun!

Nice to see you again open door! It's been a while.

Hey to the reader,

Predictable as the sun's rise and fall,
I have fallen for another. It doesn't seem to take long, does it? Maybe it's just the heat getting to me, maybe it's a rebound. Or maybe the charms of my previous infactuation were just clouding my vision? Whatever it was, I've found a new crush.

Well, not really new actually. I have had previous feelings for this particular girl. Proper feelings. But it was thought going furthur would ruin our friendship. Now I'm just harbouring my crush silently, and you never know with love, so.... (expect regular updates on my amours)
Anyways, last day of school tomorrow! Roll on the summer! It's looking to be a hot one. I just hope that means lots of days trying to get a nice tan. For the last day tomorrow, some mates and I are looking to celebrate breaking up tomorrow by wearing cool ties, which should be fun. I just hope we don't look like complete fools.

Ah well, the last day will be as boring as hell, so we might as well try and put some groove into it. Unlucky to all those with an hour detention tomorrow, I hope it cools down for you!

Keep cool in the boiling weather guys!
Best wishes to you all,
JoeMI6

Phew.

Unless you live at one of the poles, I'm guessing you too have noticed how hot it has been over the past few days. Today being the hottest recorded day in July for Britain.

Something funny happened at school today. Rumours were flying in the heat about other schools having days off because of the extreme warmth. At this outrage, many students camped out on the large field after lunch, refusing to do lessons. I did not know of this until it was too late to join in. However, the story goes that the teachers tried to round them all back inside. I emphasise 'tried'. As a result, pupils pegged it for the exits, overwhelming the teachers. A lot of them managed to get out the gates and into the streets, but most were rounded up. Some even hid inside a mate's house (he lives right across the road from school). All in all, quite funny. But it also means that we don't get the benefit of a day off tomorrow. Oh well, it's almost the summer, so the adults don't expect us to do any work at any rate.

Recently, I have also got back into cycling. I have found a route that is quiet and challenging; a rarity when one lives so close to the town. It's a brilliant way to forget all your troubles when it's just you, your music and your wheels. The weather is ideal at the moment, so I highly recommend it.
Keep enjoying yourselves guys, only a few more days to go!

Love and Best Wishes,

One door closes...

...Another door opens. Or at least, that's what the saying is.

Hey to the reader by the way,

I recently suffered a disappointment at the hands of Lady Love. But I guess it was never going to amount to much. I won't bore you with details. Let's just say I gave the girl what she wanted, but I just wasn't the guy she wanted it from. The other door is the prospect of being a bachelor yet again, so I guess, if anyone is willing to take me up, I'd be happy to oblige. I probably don't know who you are yet, but I'm guessing I'll just have to wait to find that special someone.

Be on the lookout for that one person, the one who could be yours to love and care for. I truly believe in soul mates, there is someone out there for everyone.
Good luck finding your perfect partner. You never know who it might be.

Keep on rocking, all you guys,
JoeMI6

(Special thanks to Harry and Matt for helping me out with my problem)

There's no business like show business....

Hey to the reader,

As some of you may or may not know, I'm a budding actor. It's been my ambition for a couple of years now, and I hope to turn it into a career. I love it, it's just so fun to be able to step into someone else's shoes for a night, knowing that people are watching you and throughly enjoying themselves because of what you are doing. It's the sort of thing where if you put in 110%, you get twice as much back.
I recently finished performing in a production (a farce called the Beaux Stratagem). It was quite a stretching role for me, and I think I did the character justice. Performing wasn't the only good aspect though. The cast and crew were absolutely amazing. We are just one big happy family, everyone loves each other to pieces. To have a huge group of people all there for the exact same purpose as you is great. We all just get so attached we never want it to end. It's really inspiring to think that so many different people who have the one common ground can become such great friends. Drama is one of the reasons I know so many people.
If you haven't done it before, give it a shot. You might just love it.

Best Wishes to all of you,
JoeMI6

Welcome

Hey to the reader,

I'm new to the whole blogging thing, so forgive me if I screw up at all. I'm a guy who will never pass up a new friend, doesn't hold grudges for very long and I just want to have a happy life. I'll give you chances if you cross me, but I have to draw the line somewhere. I'd rather have things to be 'OK' between us, rather than the whole enemy thing; I just don't do that. I'm loud, proud and can be funny when the right material comes along. Although you'll probably never hear how loud I actually am, you'll be able to tell it through my trait of arguing the thinnest argument ever. I'll prove my point to stupid extremes if I feel the need arises. However, if you learn to tolerate me then we'll get along just fine.

I care about how people are feeling a lot. If someone looks even remotely down, I'm gonna go see what's up and do my best to help out. During my teenage years I've probably cared a bit too much about others than how I'm feeling. But you shouldn't worry about that, I'm just willing to help out. I'm probably what some people would class as a geek (I know more about Star Wars than is probably good for me). I have found that if people can look past stereotypes and see who I am rather than only what interests me, I've had better friends for it. I also like to use writing to get out a lot of bad feelings, so you might see some extracts from stories from time to time.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and that you can get some calm (hence the name) from my many thoughts and feelings.

Have good weekends, all you guys,

JoeMI6
